Ballina - a venue which possibly sends a shiver up a few spines, as memories of torrential rain and hellish fishing conditions come flooding back...
Well, there's nothing like making amends, and as such the Daiwa Hobie Kayak Bream Series will be returning there for a two day tournament which will be hosted by the GTS and the North Coast Fishing Bonanza.
Coming hot off the heels of the recent round at Mooloolaba, there will no doubt be a list of Queenslanders preparing to make the trip south for another shot at qualifying for the Grand Final, along with breamer's from all across the country who are yet to make the cut.
With its reputation of tough fishing and potentially drawing a smaller crowd than we have seen at other rounds, this round at Ballina could in fact be a very attractive round for those willing to 'play the numbers game' in search of their berth in the Grand Final.
