Shimano Handles & Knobs

Hi everyone
I need handle knobs for a Shimano Chronarch CH101D7 as my knobs are melting. as they do.
I have removable knobs on mine even though scematics say they are not.
I am seeking any alternative other than oem septon knobs.


Also am after an aluminium handle Knob for a Stradic 3000FI for the same reason.

Thats Shimano's way to say, "we'll sell you the whole handle as one and sting you large" - you can buy the knobs separately however have to find a part number.

I know that the knob that came on my 1000 FB Rarenium was a different rubber altogether than that of Septone, I still changed it out due to the bulk and feel of it. It came with a neat little Aluminium garnish cap also. That may be something to look at - find the schematic for that reel and specifically order that reel handle knob as a set for your reel if you like the Shimano knob shape and feel.

Personally to hell with Shimano knobs, Daiwa RCS and standard knobs for me...

Japan tackle has a few knobs that will fit for the stradic 3000 handle should just bite the bullet and be done with it.

Dunno if it was the stradic CI4 or sustain or biomaster that had a eva knob that looked like it may be compatible, will suss it out.

and yes if only the handle shafts were the same lengths as Daiwas...shimano would never sell a knob again! and joy of joys the knobs on my ch101d7 do spin off....yay.
