St George's Basin newbie

Hey guys

Just touching base for the first time on this site to introduce myself. Relatively new to the whole fishing scene(last 4years only). Sold the tinny earlier on in the year and am ow fishing out of a Hobie Revo 13.

Have mainly fished the basin for very limited success, but of late have been using Jervis Bay as a practice ground.

Looking forward to reading up and gaining some much needed knowledge.

Cheers

HOUDINI

Welcome Houdini. Although I've never fished St Georges Basin, it does have a solid reputation as a big fish producer, so I suppose you could do a lot worse when it comes to where you live.

So, what sort of fishing have you tried so far?

Mainly fishing with bait, but in the last 6months or so I've started playing around with HB and SP with minor success. At the end of the day I look at at this way.

If I catch a feed, that's a bonus, if not, I had a day off work and spent it on the water. WIN WIN

Welcome Houdini.
I'm a Basin regular too from both a yak and a boat. Not a bad part of the world.
