You got anti fog strips also?

Otherwise get a chamois and dry it out proper and cut it into strips that will fit to both insides of the housing and below the GoPro. Thats what I use for my underwater housing rather than the GoPro strips to prevent fogging.

If you use the oven - remember to throw the silica gel packs that come in the anti fog strip pack in the oven when you switch it off. Dry the silica gel out and then put it back in the fog strip pack.

Helps suck all the moisture out.

Fogging sucks inside the housing - gets worse when you dive / snorkel with a GoPro. The deeper you go you can physically see the fogging occurring inside the housing. My SLR housing gets about 6 Silica gel packs thrown into it when I go on a day trip.

Really murky up here, tried a few different solutions and tried coaxing the bream up with burly but they were down deep and pretty shy of the GoPro...

Managed to get some stills - and had to play with the colours to see them - not even worth posting up.

Seriously hope that your endeavour works!

P.s. WiFi shot as soon as the GoPro goes under water - Confirmed.

Well just tested runtime of GoPro3 with 64gb Extreme PLUS 80mb/s 533x micro card with additional battery BacPac and so far a runtime of 1.45min which will be ample time to capture a hardbody hit if the water plays the game and stays clear...really needed to do this in the summer months in gin clear water probably left it too late in the season with heavy rains of late effecting a lot of water all over WA
Will do my best and see if we can make it happen.Pretty excited to say the least.
Packing cameras and gear as we speak.

Cheers Steve

Nah mate conditions of water and the fact that the intended snags were well out of the water made it a no go (failure to launch) ....have to wait to Xmas now to get the right water clarity and depth.
Stay tuned though as I really want to make this happen.

Cheers Steve...

This isnt the vid you were waiting for but I have just worked something out with night time filming

I've been doing a fair bit of night time filming recently and I am always disappointed with the amount of light my camera picks up. My eyes show a much brighter picture than the footage shows

Of course there's a simple solution.

I wish I'd thought of this earlier.

These video editing programs have all sorts of junk I thought I wouldnt need - and I'm going to do some more exploring - but the brightness and contrast control is a game changer for night time filming.

Tweaking the brightness in post, turns my camera lights into 500 million lumen flood lights - you lose some image quality but at least you can see what you are trying to see
