Tournament entry
Can anyone tell just how difficult it is to gain entry into a tournament, With the amount of interest they are attracting it seems there must be a limit to numbers of anglers/boats, If so can anyone tell me the best way to apply for entry.
Im refering to bream tourns 2005. As a boater. |

Should not be a problem with boaters as they gladly welcome more boaters. It's when you are entering as a non-boater without any boater then you have to get your entry in early. Cheers!

not difficult at all, pay your money and in you go.Non boaters are of course limited to the number of boaters.
The Taree comp was the largest field assembled with 69 boaters. I don't know of any plans to limit numbers, but I imagine there would have to be an upper limit. If it did, it come down to first in best dressed. If you have any questions regarding a particular event, just ring the organisers. But generally, the more the merrier.

If your intending to enter as a boater its best to get in early, I noticed on the east coast that in most of the comps, they only filled the last of the non-boaters positions in the last few days and I think a couple of potential boaters had to switch over to non-boaters. In the Bass Comps the boaters far outway the non-boaters and I can see the bream comps going this way as well.

sorry marty101 but that position has been taken by a mate of mine johnny wright. He's a top fisho, but if you get really stuck let me know, I know a bloke who's about to refit his boat and is looking for a fishing buddy.
