A few guys have thrown around ideas about launch spots on Yakfish, the ravo pub and the clansman were a couple, ravo seemed to be the pic but not sure about the red tape involved...

Yes, on the beach near the Ravo would be good but will have to see whose land it is and how we can access, deal with parking etc etc.

Clansman could be good if we could get access to the grass area for parking too.

That's a job for the coming weekend.

I wonder if the beach at sandy cove in murray lakes will be available? May be the same issue of receiving permission to use the area. Anywhere on mandurah is awesome so I'm happy where ever

Don't forget to have your ABT membership card with you i believe they will be checking to make sure they are current.

I hope the launch does not get announced until a few days prior, we all know its in Mandurah we don't need folks going down and pre flogging the tournament arena

The Problem i see is the kayak arena is compact due to limited distances we travel ,if its announced the Clansmen is the launch we will have 35 yakkers flogging every inch of Bondys Bend and surrounding areas before the tournament, other launch sites could cop a hammering in the immediate surrounds also.

Mind you i have more concerns with the Blackwood ABT with the boats flogging it and now joined by Kayaks as well this year.

If Craig sees fit to put up the launch its no biggy, good luck Stu you must be one of the favourites as you have been putting a lot of time in Mandurah,i will be happy just to get a fish dumb enough to jump on my lure

LOL you are too kind mate.
Ive only ever weighed in a full bag in a comp once & that was last comp in Albany.
I just personally dont think it matters who fishes where to be honest as every day is a different day for bream fishing as far as I can tell.
Ive tried following the conditions in the weather & the tides & everything else that your meant to do but I still say its hit & miss on the day if they are going to be biting etc.
I really dont think it takes all that long for Bream to return to there hangout myself.
All I know is Ive caught the bug bigtime & cant remember the last time I went fishing for something other than Bream.... :P
I love it....
