Will your crabs be made using RST .
Rubber Stretch Technology , I see you sort of answered it in a following post .

The Material we will be making the Crabs out of is known in the industry as TPR

Its Super Stretch , You can Stretch so far you think Crikeys it should snap but it doesn't then snaps right back into shape.

This Material also Floats and Floats well.

They normally add salt into the Mix to make it sink but we won't be doing that.
We want the Claws to Be Floating in Defence Position, when Various Jig Heads Pull the Body down.

You will notice if you look at the SPIDER CRAB design

The Claws have been made with enough size to make them Float and Float well, thats been a very important part of our design.

If the design works like we think the Claws will have some nice action, looking very natural in movement even with Stingers Attached if you chose to rig it that way.

Cheers Nordy

Wow, that crab looks great !! Especially if that's how they look after production. Love the jighead design. All makes sense, and i have an abundance of W hooks lying around somewhere. Those things are so sticky, and the springy nature of them actually makes em real tuff when fighting a fish.

Would the crab stand on its legs with the super stretch material for its legs?

I would think not,

The crab will rest on belly or jig head

But legs will not be flat on the bottom like most others

Ours have arched shape like real crab
