Squidgy Wild Prawn

I just read a report about a 4lb, 48.5cm bream being caught in Gippsland on a Squidgy Wild prawn. Never heard of the Squidgy Wild prawn lures and they aren't on the Squidgy web site.

Anyone have any experience with them?

Probably a new release this season and being tested?
Is that a pic of it?

Seems to be. I did a google and the camping and boating place has them on their web site but no one else.

B C F exclusive. They come in a 65mm and 90mm size aswell as a few new colours not seen before in the squidgy range of soft plastics. They have a slit down the middle making them perfect for weedless rigging, this is especially prominent in the larger size. They sit fine on a standard jighead although the feelers at the front do get squashed and fall out if you are using a larger jighead which I found on the weekend chucking the larger model prawn with a 1/2oz head for jew. Give them a go they are going to crack some great fish, I haven't managed anything spectacular on them yet just some of the etuary usuals but I feel it is only a matter of time. Can't wait for summer to come because I want to use the pink prawn like a grass minnow and skip it across the surface, will suit that application admirably.

I only just saw them in the 3 lettered shop this afternoon for the first time.

They look like a nice looking lure.

i was the first person to use them in a tournament in WA
to bad i only used them for the prefish at the blackwood got smoked first cast litterley and had my nitro jighead bitten in half and used the lure with a hookless jighead to see where the fish were, worked perfect haha.
Fished it on a 1/32 as it has a nice glide just like a prawn got some good fish up stream biut didnt use them on comp day as my confidence with them has to grow alot more before replacing zmans haha

no they look exactly like the first pic just a bad pic from me taken through a waterproof case haha
the only problem i found with them is the feelers falling out from little bream so id just put a dab of superglue on the head just like zmans.
id lso chop the little point on there head s it gets in the way.
i even rigged one bckwards and chopped the tail looked really good drifting down on a light jighead

Other than the feelers, i read that some of the plastics come out with a bent tail...is that the case?
