Yep that's correct.
Wide lenses are generally quite expensive, especially when you are looking at the faster ones. (lower f. rating) But like most lenses you get what you pay for.....It's a glass thing. CHeers, Phil |

You also have to be aware that the fisheye lenses are not able to take a filter or protector so be very careful around water. This is the lense I have, couldn't see a real need for an 8. this does an amazing job.

Yeah an eight is super wide....Though Olympus make an eight but it is the equivilent of 16mm with the 4/3 system they use.
Those pics of Bears, if shot at the widest of his lens (14mm), are the equivalent of 22mm lens on a film or full frame digi camera. Which is nice and wide. Though you still get vingetting (spelling?) which is the curving of the picture towards the outsides of the frame. A 5D and a 24mm lens will fix this....$$$$$$ Phil |
