Hi Johno,

Let the guys know where you are and how long you've been fishing fro Bream on lures and plastics. I'm sure you'll find a wealth of knowledge in these guys.

Warren.

First fish on a softie

Hi everyone,

I just logged on today and I feel great about it.

Anyway, last night I had my firstreal experimentation with the softies and I had some success. This is how it went.

We went to a local jetty in Bunbury and put the drop nets out. I soon worked out that there a few herring about. After remembering an article in DohDohDoh by Chris and Taro I tyed on a fat grub and started fishing. Because I had never given softies a real go before, it took me 5-10 minutes to find a likely retrieval. 10 minutes later i was bringin in a herring. The end result was two tail bite offs 6-7 big hits, 2 shaked out the hook while jumping in mid air and I fish.
