Heavy wire jigheads in weights less than 1/28th oz. ??

Hey guys, does anyone know of a heavy wire jighead that is made in weights lighter than 1/28th oz.??

I don't want a Hidden Weight style jighead, just the standard bullet type.

Let me know!

If you cant find them... and you need them quick

you could either add a split shot to a nude hook or cut some lead of an existing jighead.

Scissors work on smaller jigheads but for the big boys I use garden clippers

Not available in Aus anymore mate but I'll buy from overseas if I have to. Are they a strong hook? They look pretty light in the photo's.

It's only 1/2 a gram... I've done heavier farts than that

With a set of these in your tackle box - a ball head jig can become a darter or a standup - and a 1/2 ounce jig can become a 1/28th with just a few snips

Just make sure you are wearing eye protection or looking away when you make the cut. I havent had any lead go flying with this method - but it doesnt mean it wont happen. (I did have one jighead explode and go flying when I gripped it with some pliers then forced the pliers shut with a bench vice - Wont be doing that again)

I assume you want them for fishing racks? I just cut the head off and use them like a hidden weight in the racks.
