first bream i ever hooked on plastic i remember well, it was a horse i saw swimming on a snag and then got absolutley duted. still would of been my PB
had a bit of a dry spell but finally got a small one on a storm twitching nipper and thats what started it for me. first bream on a hard was on some purple damiki but im not the greastest fan of them now.
3 years later ive caught bream on over 45 different lures and im well and truly hooked. cant even bare myself to soak a bait for bream again

Im sure mine came from either a poo eater or a PPE grub.....those that are older enough will kmow what im taking about...funny thing was i called them a curly thing and then to the tackle shop tying to buy them under the made up names.
Close second where 2.5 and 3 inch sliders with the orange slider jigheads...weedless style.

no matter where ive been around the country 80mm wrigglers in either blood worm or wassabi on a 1/32-1/16 head on light leader around 3-4lb will get bream. structure fish always seem the easiest to catch and mostwilling to take a plastic or hard so just go down to a local marina and cast right up against the pylons or under the pylons and slowly bounce the plastics along the pylons. popular places such as parks or the local jetty where families go to feed the ducks or throw thier old bait in after a session can be almost cheating at times. gulp sandworms, shrimp or squidgie wrigglers fished extremly light will catch a heap of bream and other species in this situation.
if you live in a area like me with plenty of creeks head up to the snags. you loose a fair bit of tackle but the rewards are always worth it. in natraul structure i tendto find hards most productive. rapala xrap 04's, atomic shads and sx40's are well known and very productive lures. much around with actions becuase every creek has its own one that works best.

keep getting out there and you will eventully get a few bream mate. once you get one they keep comming
