I would have to assume that they expected it to happen sooner or later. A smart businessman would have taken it into account long ago.

just so i dont stir anyone the wrong way, i will start by saying that i pay full price for name brand gear and avoid what i believe to be cheap copies.
but i will ask this of you guys who dissaprove- who downloads music and movies? who buys knock off clothing to look cool and who buys fake perfume for the mrs on feb 14th ? i know i do
i support the tackle industry and always will, but sometimes, just sometimes you can break the rules. i sympathise with those comanies who have been copied tho

just my 2 bob

cheers

Yes we did expect it to happen to the shad due to its popularity
But we are always on the move with new things.

That is all you can do, and what we have in store for the fishing community is really awesome.

just keep tuned in to any new Cranka post to see what is coming in the near future.

Regards

Dan

Nah mate, it's all good. I was a bit pi..d off when heard this first. But on the second thought, you and other guys who buy them do whatever you want with your money.

It's all market driven in the end of the day.

I am glad that I fish with SPs much more than HBs and there are plenty of them in my tackle box to last me for quite some time.

Some people like to buy fake watches and pretend they are real - all show off. I love my "original" Sea Master

Cheers

Arn't most of those SP's from your sons tackles box so cheap at 1/2 the price .

I know what you mean about buying lesser products, a couple of blokes i know bought Toyota Prado's cause the Crusiers of that same kind were too dear

All in jest my friend
Coming fishing Thursday?
Dale.

I took my CRANKA's out and had a play, good stuff buys I know you have done a fair bit to the lure to get it to do what it does.

I am quite capable of buying my own stuff and have plenty of receipts from Mylureshop and Fishin.com to prove it but don't have to .
And I am a snake chain store "honorary" club member when it comes to purchasing jigheads and some other stuff.

Love my Prado...

It's a lure its always going to get banged up it;s not about what it looks like to others eg fake or real, If it looks the same and swims well do you think the fish look at it and let it swim past, of course not , They are only fish your catching. Half the time your just paying for the name with fishing tackle,What things cost and what they are worth is very different.

The differances in tone of this thread versus the 3B thread is interesting.

Just another company out there riding off the back of those that did the hard yards. All i can say is boycott them.

Well they certainly swim straight, but i was under the impression the Cranka Shad was a suspending lure in slat water?

these are a very slow float in fresh,

did a nice job on the fresh this morning, but i will certainly be buying the proper Crankas as well.

Well, with the DohDohDohDoh grand opening on saturday I intend on purchasing one of the knock offs to try. Just for the sake of it I guess I'll purchase a genuine too, just so I can see if they're really worth twice as much (or more).
