Flats Rod
I'm after a flats rod and are favouring either a Daiwa Battler Kung Fu Prancer or a Daiwa Gekkabijin Air 79L-S, however I haven't yet held either.
Unlikely that I'd get to hold the Gekka, but I own a Gekka 73L-S and love it so hoping the 79L-S is just a longer version of the same. I will hopefully get to test out the Battler in the next week. Anybody tried either? how do you rate them? Or is there something better? |

What lures? Plastics or hard bodies.
In the Daiwa range the "S" means solid tip also called megatop, great for plastics but for hard bodies look for the "T" models as this is the tubular blanks. |

Hards, mainly double clutches and sugarpens, though I prefer solid tip rods.
