Bought a vibelicious thumper tail mullet pattern to target mulloway - looked great in pics but a bit ordinary in real life. Tail does waggle but hardly thumping - i would describe it as quite stiff with minimum vibe. Would be better off with a metal blade or going the other way a plastic like osp easy shiner for better action. having said that, ive used it once and discarded it, so take my view with a grain of salt.

These lures have accounted for massive catches of Jew Bream and Flathead up here at Port Macquarie. They send out a frequency that fish like. They don't need to Vibrate madly. Have a look at what Mark Saxon from castaway estuary charters catches on them. I have been using them for a couple of years and always have a rod ready with one on. I use 70 m/m in the river and 100m/m in the surf. They are often thought of as a deep water lure, but I was using one today catching Flathead in 50 c/m of water.Very versatile. Howard.

Found a photo from last year. There are 2 models , the thumper and the split tail. Two very different actions, both work, I find myself using the split tail the most. Howard.
