shallow diving suspending or floating hardbodies or plastics rigged weedless with a proper weedless hook. They are your best options

with the weedless i do have the proper hooks its just that is there one with a weight which is around 1/20,1/16? because they sink to slow and the blowies
just eat them straight away |

1/16th is fine for that water depth, so if the issues are the blowfish then I dont really know what to recommend as I have heard they are ferocious over there and even eat hardbodies.

Google "Weighted worm hooks" and it should put you onto a few from various suppliers/stores.

What plastics are you using? Some scented plastics or protein plastics (I think it's called) can attract blowies ie. gulp and slam bait. But these plastics also work good. Busso is just around the corner from me and zman grubz work the best around the south region. Also try that river that runs through busselton, it was recently stocked with bream.

Try your same plastics but with one of these. Theres an Aussie distributor A&M Tackle with them. 1/8 will get you down quick, they can have the point skin hooked and just bounces and scrapes over rocks. Good luck
