Files to big - Help

Taking photos with my wifes EOS 450 I get a good quality pic but the file is way to big to be able to use it on BM.
Am I able to compress it from (1.5 - 4MB) to 250 kb.
If so how? Or are the files too big?
Cheers Hillster

Download Image Resizer from here Hillster, its free:

http://www.vso-software.fr/products/...ge-resizer.php

This is quite cool freeware, as you can do batches of photos....

or, you can open any of your pics in the Canon software that came with the wife's camera to resize the images, or you can even do it in most paint programs.

I think BM has a max of 800x800 pixels?

I use microsoft office picture. It should be standard on your PC. Click on the file and right-click it, go "open with.." and click "Microsoft Office Picture Manager" and continue from there.
