How did you ever make out

with your "on board" charger idea bassifier?

Did you f9nd one at an affordable price?

You know - the sugestion of wiring an ordinary 240 V outdoor power inlet fitting from a caravan into your boats 24 volt electrics circuit, and then adding a 3 pin 240 volt power chord plug to the 24 volt wires comming from a normal battery cahrger stored in your boat shed at home isn't so silly.

I mean - you back the boat in, plug the chargher plug into the console mounted inlet plug, turn the 240 v switch on and presto - the batts are being charged without having to remove them from the boat!

This way you avoid the expense of a waterproof charger, and the risk of it ever getting wet.

Should you ever go away to a camp out situation - throw an extension chord and battery charger in the boot of the car, and as long as theres a 240 genny or shorepower outlet within cooee of where you park your car, boat& trailer overnight - you're in business.

Just a thought...albeit a belated one!

Cheers!
