What a great site!

A few months ago I bought some soft plastics, line, and jig heads from Bream Master, Hope to use them for the first time this Saturday. I have been Lure Fishing for bream for around 20 years, almost exclusively with crawdad lures oversandflats. Have only scored one whiting in all that time, the Sliders have Me interested for Whiting!

Yep i have caught the odd whiting on sliders 1.5" models they are a great lure. This coming holidays i will be experimenting with tiny 1" bloodworm single tails that i think will be dynamite on the whiting.

Good luck

Just remember the light (4lb or less) leaders for the Whiting - it makes a world of difference (pretty scary when you score a decent Flatty as by-catch though )

Dave,

I have some 4 kg powerline which looks about as thin as 2 kg.

In the past I have been using 2 kg mono, Great fun with 2-3 kg Flathead!
