Can't wait to get the Minn Kota mounted up on my new bream boat. Who is up for some canal fishing?

Guys,

I can see how you are a bit confused as to why people that own the houses on canals are getting angry when you're fishing them, but if they get angry, just move on. There's a lot more canals to fish where that one came from and they can't all get angry.

With boats, I can feel the boat owners pain, it's like if someone was casting at your fibreglass skeeter. Not the same boat, but they still have pride in their gear and if someone was casting up to your boat knocking the sides you wouldn't be happy, i know i wouldn't anyway.

Just my opinion.

Casting against boats isn't the problem here.

I make the best effort to get them back normally, owners don't want to be standing on our chemically sharpened hooks. In summer I will quite happily go for a bit of a swim to get the lure (helps to cool off as well ), but in winter I would only swim for a hardbody after all other options had been considered.
