Daiichi Death Trap Trebles
Anyone tried these - I was wondering how they stack up against Owners/Gama's/Decoys? Better or worse? Just looking to try something else if it offers an advantage.

Have not tried them but out of all the trebles those decoy YS25 are the strongest for a fine hook i have used on bream style lures.
I had a look online at the death traps they dont seem to be anything super special compared to the other offerings. |

Comment seems to suggest a proprietary forging process coupled with a higher carbon content making them 20% stronger than competitors offerings and sharpen better.
Small super sharp trebbles and bream can be a deadly combiation last trip to the Bemm had some new Hurricane bent minnow and twitch shallows tied on. The damn hooks are so sharp the lures are like handling sticky paper, buried well past the barb quite a few times tying on snaps 🤕🤕 , point is :- upside is hooks like that do not miss many hook up opportunities. Generally I swap hooks on most lures, clearly no need to do that with Hurricanes. Just for the record have no connection with or to Hurricane Just use the product. |

The Daiichi Death Trap Trebles are a great gauge falling in between the ST 36BC and ST11 gauges and are very strong for their thickness.
Yes I am affiliated with them but they have landed some cracking Bream Big Bream for me.

Thanks, I might give them a whirl. Find the Owner ST11's get crunched too easily by bream although good on whiting.
