Funny you should say that is where I saw it .
Been thinking of getting it for my birthday present seeing my kids bought me a voucher from there . I know I'll be paying the majority of it .
I just have people telling me don't buy it this one is better but have never used or owned one . But still say it's not good .

Keyboard warriors or fishers when I asked this question .

And I asked your question in one of my posts .
All the answers are from people
1 that have never used it and say shimano is better .
2 or they bought the next model up never used it swapped it for shimano .

I understand everyone has an opinion but it appears on fishing forums and fishing pages on Facebook. That everyone who have never used for one claim shimano is better .

For myself I wanna get a better quality reel . My reels are old I'm using a very old shimano Sienna 1000. Just want a nicer better reel saw this Abu Garcia reel liked it and can now afford it .
I don't wish a second hand reel had fun with a symetre 750
Was catching over 30 cm bream on that a Laguna 1000 and my old 1500 Aird

Just wanted a newer great quality reel

At that price point I don't think you can go past a Stradic Ci4

I have an MGX that has been faultless. Not sure about the ALX though.
