First time fishing the ABt Grand Final

Well I was "lucky" enough to finish second at the Blackwood round. Very happy with the result considering it was my first ABT qualifier and I didnt think I fished very well. Now comes the decision should I fish the Grand Final?

I was wondering what peoples experiences are in general good and bad/pros and cons. Still a while away but kind of need to get the ball rolling cause getting time of work is a DohDohDohDohDoh.

Cheers

Brodie

Very well worth the trip mate. It's a great trip away with good people and a chance to learn a LOT more. Always great to fish new waters as well. I fished Forster and will never forget the trip.

Thumbs up Go W.A.

There are only 2 Qualifying rounds here in W.A. so if you get in you should go. It is a great experience fishing against the best NBs in the country and being a part of the main event is an awsome experience.

Fished and ABT bream final before and well worth it, Had made the Bass final the other year but had to go overseas and regret not going.
As the guys have said you will meet new friend and have the chance to take out boater-or non-boaters champ for the year which ever you are......only might come around once so take it in both hands and go for it........we only live once.

If you have never been to Mallacoota Brodie,, you wont be dissapointed. There are some serious yellow fin and Black bream to be caught in this system. If you have a look through past records you will note is not uncommon for 10KG plus 2 day bags.

As bycatch you can tangle with some of the monster flathead, mulloway, luderick, salmon , tailor, leatherjacketthat will also get the reel singing.

Not to mention that the beer has a great Chicken Parma, and decent beer on tap..

Work can wait, a chance like this is not to be sneezed at

Brodie, as Nike says "JUST DO IT"
Mate I would love to be fishing it, especially at Mallacoota
As others have stated you will gain alot of experience and meet some great people, personally its the main reason I fish the ABT events here, in the hope of qualifying for the final.
Unfortunately I have only made the classic finals so far, who knows maybe next year fingers crossed.
