new release Daiwa rods
has anyone heard if daiwa are replacing the battler rod range as i see a few stores are doing a run out special?

They were displaying them at afta so dont see why theyd do that if they were getting rid of the range
I did pick 2 up on special though. Hot dog and the 6ft8 4-9kg baitcaster. Cant rememebr the name.. the hot dog is ridiculously ballsy..

Tacklewarehouse in brissy have the commander and battlers on special atm. Aldo a bunch of other cool stuff on special as well..

Just check Tackleware in Bris. have it for $449. that not sale price...that what I would get at local store

Sorry I wish I had pictures and not just words (as I haven't seen it myself but my sources are good) which could be rumors but expect camo grips. I know the Commanders have a green colouration. Also, I don't think it's AGS2 as some are expecting.

So youd get a everyday price of 449 for a battler at your local store.. really? Or just exaggerating a little?

I agree! Daiwa have really taken colour and options to the next level but I can't say camo Eva would look good....
I'm picturing red/grey/black Eva on a battler and I'm cringing.

Anyway it might look ok who knows....

Mate, it really help when you know your local store well and support them. In return they do discount on stuff you get. I just pick up 2 samurai infinite for $410 each, everywhere else $499...that $160 I save mate... but not everyone get the discount. Everyone here would have their loyal to a tackle store and the store always try to keep anglers coming back... sorry you don't believed what I posted.

Im very loyal to my local. To the tune of 4 certaes in the last 3 months. 2 battlers 1 commander. 3 dobyns rods. A black label v2. A tatula ct, a curado 70 2 stradic fk. Line for all the reels plus coupoe hundred at least worth of lures. And i could never get a battler for 449 not on sale.. and you get that price cause your a loyal customer?
