ABT Bream tournament live weighins

For those that perhaps have never seen a tournament weighin and you want to see how it all works a lot of tournaments you can watch live on your computer generally from around 2pm if you are based in the East coast.

Theres two people on each boat, the boater generally owns the boat or controls the boat up the front, the non boater usually get matched randomly with a boater each day like a raffle so to speak to keep things simple, the fish caught get put in seperate live wells or a live well with a divider so you know whose fish are who's.

At the weighin you get a special constructed mesh bag and you put your fish in get them weighin in then let them go,theres holding tanks near the weighin that are airerated so you can put your fish in if someones up on stage weighin in,each day the weights are tallied up.

If you want to check out this weeks action from Tasmania click on this link around 2 pm east coast time http://live.bream.com.au/bream_derwent_042012.php 31st March Saturday,1st April sunday .

If you have any questions/querys on what you have seen jot them down here theres dozens of experienced folks that can answer them and hopefully we will see you at the next tournament

But your backyard is Gippsland Lakes.

Bit harder for me to get a fix. I am finding typing is the only way to stop my right arm from moving in a casting motion and my left hand moving in circles.

Do you have any fishing holes close by? Somewhere you can catch some Carp or Reddies just to get a fix, sometimes we need to try and replace one drug with another. A bit like Methodone for Heroin addicts, it may not be as exciting but it might help to keep you level headed Harm minimisation is the name of the game

Good idea,

Sugarloaf is apprently fishing OK at the moment. Give me the chance to do some casting practice as well. I can also try some of these lures we scored at Metung figue out what will be coming to Mallacoota in Oct.

Good thinking 99
