would it be worth it buying an expensive leader or just a cheapo from big w.

A subjective question such as this is somewhat hard to answer. It is like asking is it worth buying a $100k car or a $5k one without providing any background of the buyer, purpose and selection criteria.

for value for money you can't beat Sunline fc rock.

Don't forget some spools come in 100m some 50 and some in 30m. You may need to factor that in before comparing prices.

+1 very hard to beat for value. It's a great product.

I have used some cheap leaders and been very disappointed, there are others on here that swear by some of the cheaper brands.
