Show us ya BOAT bling!

I think it's about time Bream Master had this thread!

In all honesty who doesn't love boats? In particular boat bling.... Now this isn't all about 100k+ fancy boats. Post up any boat or even yak that you have. Feel free to update us on any mods you have done. New sounder, casting decks or new motor etc... If you have any questions on boats or partuclar set ups or accesories feel free to ask.

I'll go first....

Boat: 2007 Stratos 285 Po XL and 150 Mercury Optimax.

Accessories: Minn Kota Fortrex 80lb, 8ft Power Pole, Humminbird 878 and 798. Also a brand new custom made trailer.

Thanks mate. Funny you should ask that! I do like it and I've had no problems with it up until now and I've used it a lot. I have to take it in to get it looked at it ain't running right after my last session.

Rate them very highly! I'll get 2 when I can afford it. They are so handy they make things so much easier. If you fish shallow a lot you should definently get one.

love ya rig Chief, the black wrap looks very slick on the water!

I recently upgraded to a small bass boat, a triton tr175 with a 115 merc 2stroke. Very happy with the ride, stability, and amazing storage for a 17'3" boat. Fits 7'6" rods in the locker with ease. I havent tricked up too much on it yet, a good clean/polish, a few new bilge/livewell pumps and a pair of Lowrance Gen2 HDS is all it needed.

Here is hoping Chief.
The old man is on his second.
First was a sweet thing, never gave any trouble, traded it on a new one because it had a few hours on it. 400 from memory
Anyhow, the new one has not performed anything like its predecessor & has had a slight miss from day dot.
Replaced an ECU & now the flywheel. Fault is still there & diagnostics cant seem to pin point it either. Hence the interest in learning what is causing your woes.
Possibly not related, but ...................

Sorry for taking this thread away from its intended purpose. Just thought I would qualify my earlier post.

What' s the motor doing? Could be electrical.

Not a bass boat, and not mine... But the old mans 03 Caribbean Belmont is undergoing a slow and steady but massive overhaul. Had a new Suzuki df140a put on the back in October with troll mode. Last winter had the anchor well and bow sprit strengthened for the drum style anchor winch. Soon to have a 3 piece wave breaker put on to replace the windscreen and new stainless rocket launchers and bimini canopy. New live bait tank and deck wash setup, toying with layouts at the moment. New tandem axle trailer to replace the slowly corroding single axle. Toying with the idea of moving the 110lt fuel tank forward and increasing capacity, but that's at idea stage. Basically turning a solid 5.4m family runabout into a serious inshore/offshore weapon.

It pretty much won't idle at all. It's really rough on low revs then it just stalls. You have to hold the revs up to keep it going. It's not over heating, stream out the back is ok. We checked the plugs, Thermostats and filters and its not them. All the cylinders are firing to. I dunno could be a fuel injector problem or a computer problem? I'm not getting any alarms on the smart craft gauges. I have no idea.
