I just thought the 820 might be a bit lighter than the 840 and better for lighter lures and smaller hooks.
If I'm going to get one I might as well get the right one, hey.
Definitely going to get another 840 though. Love those rods.

I can pick a favourite, I change my mind too much. If you have a 840 get a 820. You can still cast hb's a good distance even with the reduced length.

Thanks mate. I'll have a good look at them when Nowra Marine get some in. They're a bit low on stock at the moment.
