daiwa pro caster

i just bought a new daiwa procaster 6 foot 6. is it any good for soft plastics?
im taking it to kalbarri to see how it goes

I got the 6' model mate. Iv'e pretty much grown out of mine though (still use it as a backup rod sometimes). They aren't too bad for begginers I suppose. The rod isn't too crisp so Iv'e found they go alright when you fish lighter weights of around 1/32oz if you're serious.

What reel are you marrying it to?

yeh i agree with conehead
ive found them to be a bit floppy so probably more suited to flicking light plastics jmo.
