Spooling

Hi all,

Been while since I've posted but need some help!
Spooling my reel and wondering do I need more backing or this will be fine?
Have a look in the picture, is the spool filled enough or not enough?

Thank you all in advanced

Bash

I've never tested just how much casting distance is reduced by having an under filled spool - but if you do choose to put more backing on - you should do a test to see how far you can cast in its current state - and then when respooled.

I like to take my line up to within 1mm of the spool lip.

Thanks mate

Yeah I can't stand to look at the spool like that, thought I'll get some feedback if it does it doesn't affect casting etc...
