Melton Reservoir

After couple hours of flicking lures at Melton Reservoir other week got a 28cm estuary perch and a small reddie

Get your bent minnows out and hit up the structure, there is a DohDohDohDoh ton of EP's that size in there

Cheers mate got this one on zman grub in about 30cm of water literally hopped it over a log and got smashed!

nice one mate, i've caught plenty of redfin (and carp) below the wall, but i've only fished once in the actual reservoir.

I should actually have a look, its only 5 minutes away

Cheers mate ya heap of reddies and carp in their. Im same about 5 min drive. Their is certain part of resevoir your allowed to put yak in so might have to go for a paddle.

Nope but i wish their was. Been reading on fisheries site its on the list to stock with cod and yelas in future.

every one is allowed on there... but... only members of the ski club can use the water below the rail bridge. its just a matter of finding a good launching spot above the bridge and then going for it.

I've been meaning to get the hobie out onto it for years, about a decade actually
