WELCOME to the WA Bream Classics Forum
Hi Guys
Welcome to the WA Bream Classics forum. Many thanks to Ian Sewell for suggesting and creating this forum. Given that most, if not all current competitors in the Classics visit this great website and the volume of traffic from other interested parties; it made perfect sense from a sheer exposure to potential new competitors’ perspective to avail myself of the opportunity. I am sure current and future sponsors will also appreciate the increased exposure. For the uninitiated the WA Bream Classic Series is a series of one day catch & release fishing competitions held either in Perth (based at Matilda Bay) on the Swan & Canning Rivers or in Mandurah (based at the Mandurah Offshore Fishing Club) where contestants can fish the canals around the town site or head over to the Murray and Serpentine Rivers. They are a team orientated event where teams of two anglers, fishing from one boat, try to achieve a bag of four bream – you can catch more than four bream but only four can be weighed in. Whilst there are rules that must be adhered to the emphasis is on having fun and enjoying a day on the water with mates. I am sure that newcomers will find that there is a strong sense of community amongst the participants and they are quite willing to share their knowledge. Engel have once again graciously consented to take up the naming rights as series sponsor for 2011 – if you want a portable fridge freezer; get an Engel they really are the best!! The 2011 Engel WA Bream Classic series will consist of four qualifying rounds and of course a Grand Final. Round 1 – Sunday 6th February – Location = Perth (Swan/Canning River) Round 2 – Sunday 10th April – Location = Mandurah Round 3 – Sunday 22nd May – Location = Perth (Swan/Canning River) Round 4 – Sunday 21st August – Location = Mandurah Grand Final – Sunday 11th September – Location = Perth ( Swan/Canning River) Rules and entry forms will be posted shortly in separate threads. I look forward to seeing you all soon. Take Care Craig Last edited by Craig; 06-12-2010 at 09:20 AM. |

Hi Guys... This is my first post of this forum. I was wondering where I go to find a Bream Buddy with a boat. I currently fish in a Yak and I am contemplating getting a Bream boat but I want some experience first. I would like to join the WA Bream Classic and would be comitted to money and time but finding a boat is the issue.
Any help would be great.

You have taken the first step in posting in this forum.
Try another post in the Bream Buddy forum and in the round one entry list forum. Good luck
