The feeler...
No, not the creepy guy down the beach or that 'mate' in the showers after a game of footy.
I'm talking about the idea of leaving an extra long tag on your knot when you tie a lure on. I once heard a thought that leaving an extra long tag, say about 2"-3", replicates a prawn feeler, adding more attraction to a lure. There certainly are some prawn imitations that have long feelers like this, but I've always trimmed my tag on a loop knot at about 4-5mm. What does the collective brain think, is there validity to this concept? |
