Smile Greetings from Perth Hills

Hi All.......since retirement late last year have been trying my hand at bream (shore) fishing using lures in the upper Swan River - around Guildford (closest place to Perth Hills for me).

Actually caught one on a hard body (to my great surprise) and by coincidence read about an open day being run by WA Bream Classics and with Hobie yak demos by Getaway few weeks ago - I attended and was 'sold' on breaming and yakking. Thanks Ian to Sewell and the fellow presenters for a great day.

2 weeks later I bought a Hobie 12 PA - which I have used a couple of times and am itching to use more once rain stops here..and the Swan R. slows down from it's current wild/white water state! Doubt there will be any bream around for a while however - all flushed downstream.

Have already picked up some informative information from the various posts in this forum - look forward to learning much more.

Cheers

Welcome to the site Mike

Its a bug once you catch its definitely hard to shake off very rewarding watching your lures getting nailed by those fish especially when your starting out and you think how do they do this

then before you know it youll be hello 40s

tight lines

Ben
