Spinning Snowy Lakes For Trout

Hi guys,

I'm heading to Lake Eucumbene for a week and wondering what lures people use this time of year. I've got all the usual bream stuff (HB: minnows, shads, cranks. Vibes, blades, poppers, stick baits etc. Soft plastics). Is it worth purchasing spinners or tassies? What sort of retrieves work best?

I will ofcourse bring my fly gear and a camera so that I can report back.

Cheers,
Joel

double clutches, duo spearheads anything shiny. Any blades work well too.
not really a fan of pauses for trout either, twitches are ok but ive seen alot of trout turn away as ive paused.
Also i loath tassies

Cheers Normoh and Dirvin. I've got some double clutches and cranka minnows in shiny colours. Will give them a crack! Sounds pretty similar to chasing yellowfin bream with a constant slow roll. Am I right in thinking structure isn't so important as they roam the edges?

If they are up and feeding it's not so important. They aren't always cruising though. I focus alot on points and bays with creeks flowing in. Browns will hang on structure though if they aren't cruising and windlanes are always worth a crack to troll if you have a boat as are old river beds
