What's with all the disappearing posts?

Is it just me or have a lot of threads been altered/removed lately? As soon as someone offers an opinion the thread is closed and edited...

What I have noticed over the last month is that an increasing amount of "hidden" stabs at certain members has increased to the site.
I for one am glad these posts have been removed.
Its alright for the Swoffa vs Trav BB vs BD debate to be done in jest but when other members start getting into personal attacks it turns this great site into something I cant even be bothered reading any more.
This isnt a personal attack on anyone, just an explanation on what I have seen.

I know what you mean, there has been a few cheap shots but but those posts have stayed online while other threads have been "tidied up".

The joking around between Glenn and I is just friendly stirring, we joke on the phone to each other as well. There are a lot of groups of mates on here who can get away with a bit of joking around, and anyone who's been here a while knows who they all are.

I boobooed on a couple this morning Swoffa, my fault, but as Bubba said. There has been far too much rubbish floating around.

How about we just let people have their own opinion and live and let live??

I'm not having a winge Bear just stating an observation. Some of my crap deserves to be edited anyway, I frequent so many sites and sometimes forget what I can and can't say on each...

Dont forget the old adage that what we write may not be recieved the way we intended. I know I've looked back at my posts and others and thought that seems a bit curt, when it was certainly not my intent.
And the understanding between two friends, doesnt extend to other readers. What may be a running joke to to the writers, may look like outright abuse to an innocent bystander.

Little emoticons may be a little silly but they do help convey the intent of a message, and can take the edge off what may seem to be a trite statement.

I could finish this with a wink, but I "THINK" I've been clear.

Is BM turning into a Dictatorship

Guys this is MY OPINION on the issue.

I can understand why most threads are deleted, but as soon as something even remotely negitive apears about BD the thread is closed and the "negitive" post is removed.

People want two know the pro's and cons of a product before buying, so how are they going to do so if the only site that advertises there products wont allow you too see both sides...
Fair enough you delete a post from someone full bagging out there products, but to close the intire thread as if it never came up is just plain wrong, it gives BD a bad name too!.

Also there is allot of ganging up on people that speak there opinions about the products, everyone should be entitled to there opinions though!!!

I dont mean to have a dig at BD or BM but this has been a growing problem lately and it needs fixing.

chears, Nathan

I'm not joking.

You're way off the mark Nath. To be honest, after seeing some of the stuff on other sites I believe these are the most open around. The posts that have been deleted have been attacks on individuals not constructive criticisms on products as was yours today.
