Well done on another hugely succesful comp Bill, the drive through weigh in ran smooth as considering the amount of teams.

Also well done to Dan (Spanito) and Steve Parker on a great win.

Once again another well oiled machine of a tournament. The logistics in co-ordinating the event to that calibre, and that fact that there were 70 plus team, is a credit to the Vicbream team.

Well done to all those who made a podium and those who managed to tustle with some outstanding fish.

This is the first time i had been and properly fished Coota and the species that are willing to take a lure, have to be seen to be believed. Cannot wait for the next years series,, that if i dont find some time to slip down that way in advance

Congrats to Dan and Steve in winning this great event. Well deserved win with a huge bag to boot. Steve, I am pretty sure you are carrying a spare set of scales in your boat from now on

Great comeback from Powerbream and his teammate in getting a second place after starting on Sunday in the 30 something position.

Well done to all breammasters in participating and making an effort no matter where we ended up on the leader board.

Also my thanks go to Bill for coordinating such an event that ran smoothly, well done.

Looking forward to the next round already...

Hazy, that yella was huge!

Well done, and some big fish in that lot. That yellowfin is huge, and it's amazing the difference in weight that the same length fish can have. The 40 fork blackie I got recently was only 1.3kg.

PS - Steve, once you've landed the Jewie, the worried look is no longer required (or is that shock?) . Nice one.

Well what a trip! Had a ball. Bonnie caught a heap of fish for her first ever comp.

Congrats to Steve and Dan. Well deserved winners. Steve, finally you got that 5kg+ bags! Well done to every one else especially those that travelled long distances.

A "BIG" well done to Bill and crew for another great event and also having the results and photos up so quick.

With over 70 boats fishing you would think it was bound for 'issues' but Bill and the Vic Bream Team have run the perfect tournament.

The fact that over 70 boats turned up is testament to the popularity of the Classics format and will secure its continued success for years to come.

Well done to all who competed especially those who took home the chocolates, Team Colac Tackle. Emo & Hazy for leading the way on Day 1, with a 87cm Jewie to cap off the perfect Day. And Powerbream (and team mate who's name escapes me right now) for a monstorous Day 2 bag of 6.16kg to rocket up the board into 2nd position.

Being my first trip i didn't know what to expect but now i can't wait to get back and tustle with so many species and some massive bream.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone, greatly appreciated.
What can I say, what an awesome weekend. Mallacoota just never ceases to amaze me, the quality of the fishing and the diverse amount of species willing to eat a lure is just phenomenal. Bream, Flathead, tailor, leather jackets, luderick, trevally the list goes on.....
Thanks and praise must be given to Bill for running such a fantastic tournament series, very professional and it's a real buzz for any competitor or spectator involved or witnessing the event.
Also thanks to my partner and skipper Steve, did a great job of putting us onto the fish again and driving the many miles to and from Coota. It's just a great feeling winning a teams event, still cant wipe the smile from my face.

Here are a few pics from the wknd, didnt take too many shots as the fishing was just way too good to be playing with the camera too much.
