Thanks to all for your kind words guys. Really appreciated.

Yes it was tuff as, especially on Sunday when we only had 3 squeakers in the well by 11:30 and the pressure has started to mount.

But thanks to my fishing partner who remembered of a one particular stretch of the bank that produced for us in the past.
It is good to have a feel for the right call under such a pressure.

The rest was easy-2 big fish to make a bag and two great upgrades took us to the top.

Very happy now.

Looking forward to the Granny in November

What a top effort Paul and Alex to string together such a top bag.. You may need a bigger pool room as wall is starting to get full.. TOY 2010... 2012?

Also well done Dale on scrapping the biggest Kayak bag together on day 2, after peddaling around a donut for day 1... Two comps for two top 10s.... Tidy work

well done ruski and Alex, a great effort, in tough conditions on and off the field........................
Certainly a little spent after arriving home at 1am
Definitely hungry to go back to Coota and see it at its best
I think a lot of people this weekend saw what tournament fishing is all about and how much is actually required to do well, when things don't go to plan

Thanks guys, we're both still very stoked! A bit of luck and knowledge of the system finally paid off when it counted!

Think it was a lot more than a little bit of luck and knowledge of the system mate You guys are very skilled fisho's its evident from your results this year. A massive congrats to be the only team to pull over 10kg in a very tough comp. You guys put in the hard yards and it has payed of. Well deserved AOY as well I thought Chris Wright talked to the fish but i'd kill to know what what language you guys use to entice those big girls haha.

Mainly Russian with few strong expressions...

Not sure about Slick's fish talk, but in our team it goes like this: "Hey Paul, see that submerged log over there 15m away? Why don't you cast on top of it and check?"
