New member saying "Hi"

Kind of stumbled upon this site, was researching for a light surf rod and reel. Now I'll be getting a 6'6 spinning rod and reel, loading up some 4lb fireline and casting soft plastics.
I grew up fishing East Gippsland rivers like the Tambo and the Bemm so I was fed up with catching Bream when work sent me to Qld. I actually refused to fish places where I knew I'd catch them. I know, heresy.

So far I've been impressed with the forums and I like some of those 'Attack Minnows' and whilst I have about 20 years experience Bream fishing, some of you guys seem to make me look a beginner.

Welcome to BreamMaster Tambo - you'll find we're a pretty friendly bunch, and once you start Bream Spinning you won't stop

With your background, don't be surprised to get a few questions on the Bemm and Tambo - I'd love to get down there myself one of these days, I'm told there are some super huge Bream in them

Hello Tambo,

Welcome to the slippery sliding slope to bream luring.

The Bemm river is the stuff that dreams are made of
So you probably know more than I do (which would be quite easy actually) and what I have learnt has been from the great bunch of people on Breammaster who have willingly given advice, to even the most mundane of queries.

What a lucky stumble

G'day Tambo,

I grew up in Bairnsdale fishing the Mitchell, Nicholson and Tambo rivers for about twenty years, loads of bream, tailor, mullet, flathead, trevally, etc crossed my path during those years.

Welcome to the forums :-)
