I have the 9025 xt model and no problems with it either but then again I've only used it about 5 times. There's a review on another australian fishing forum which gives high praise to this reel, as it comes with a bearing under the spool as well as carbontex drag washers as standard. For the money paid, it's a pretty good real in my opinion. Handle play on mine was acceptable and certainly others that I felt in store had more handle play then others.
