Javis Walker Knife Sharpener

Just are info on the Jarvis Walker
hand held knife sharpeners are they
rubbish ?

I borrowed afishing buddys Diamond knife sharpener
its real good , Whats the go with all the Black powder
after using one.. do you wipe it off or leave it ?

Yeah go the diamond if you have a good knife the jw are pretty rough and ready . The stuff on your knife will be the diamond wearing or metal off the knife. I usually have two knifes a JW for dispatching fish and other stuff and a Mora that's used just for filleting. Top knife the Mora whips the sides off a flattie in no time cuts through bone like butter. Wipe the powder off .

ahh thosse jw ones... i had one worked a treat with my pen knife for a few weeks.... then the sharpening stones fell out. lol was about to fillet my flathead and was sharpening my knife and then it neely flicked into my eye
