Underwater footage of someone not using a leader...

So snorkelling at my local and swam past this guy flicking this Atomic out and managed to get it on my GoPro...

Anyhow this just for those that dont use leaders and tie directly to their lures - this may be more for the noob's than the die hard's here...

Would have loved to get another shot with the same lure with a leader but no good for the rest of that session...

This is why you should use a leader anyhow

On another note if anyone wants to tee up a session (while the weather is good - water clear) with underwater pictures of lures at the Seaway get in contact with me... Video / stills of HB's, Softs and Vibes and surface would be pretty cool. And to post up here for everyone to see whats going on under water etc.

Possibly? However was amazing to see how visable the braid was to the lure, further on in the movie which I forgot to screen cap you could see the line near flash right from the surface to the lure...

I think I am going to double length my leaders now

I've been told it's pretty standard in America to tie the braid straight to the lure in many types of fishing.
Usually start a session with around 2 rod lengths of FC myself.
