haines project boat

hi guys ive just finished my boat project and thought id share some pics
was an old haines 146R that i turned into a small fast multipurpose luring boat. i wanted it based off the deck layout of a skeeter 180sx but i wanted the high sides and deep vee for punching thru chop in the bay and be able to take off shore. the reason i wanted a boat only around the 4.5m range was i wanted to be able to tow the boat on the beach with ease and have an economical boat to use. (did 90ks and only used 31L of fuel is the latest trip)
4.45m
2.05m beam
115hp mercury optimax
83kph top speed 5750
60kph cruise at 4000

VERY NEAT RIG MATE.
You have spent a lot of time and effort into putting a sweet ride together.
Very well done

Wow man, just wow!
Great job in converting the old hull into such a beautiful rig, congrats!
Now just needs a few HDS units and some pics of the fish caught.
Once again, a very neat rig, would make anyone proud
Cheers

Cracking job there mate. Well done.

What sort of dollars did it cost you to complete it?

And how did you do the deck ? in one piece off a mold or fabricate in situation?

Classy rig. Wow to be able to do that yourself must be very rewarding.

I've seen a couple of other transformation projects like this, but I this is the best I can recall.

Congrats on a fantastic effort.

That looks amazing! Probably the best rebuild I have seen, love the step by step photo's of the work. If only I had the time, money or talent to take on task like this, very inspiring.

Very impressive build. Do you have fibreglass experience or was it hard to learn? would love to do similar but not sure about working with glass. Always nice to see handiwork and handskills in action to build your ideal boat than see something bought fresh off the showroom floor. Drive that baby with pride, awesome transformation.
