No set date as yet but i want to wait til i get the decks in to give the motor a good run. The test drive only lasted 30 min or so and just involved a quick speed test and stability test.

Nice beast, We have one of those engines and never failed exept for a bad serviceman. The tool left the fuel filter off. Plenty of grunt.

Shes a great rig and i look foward to watching her get decked out. Keep the pics coming as you did last time.

She's a beauty Brad! Very strange indeed, I was going to get the exact same boat at one stage, and now you ended up getting the exact same outboard as mine! Nice outboard indeed! I found the tiller too short/low, bought an extension which is way too long and also useless, grip slides after a while, returning it. Decided to cut the seats instead! That should do the trick, for me.

Yeah, keep us posted with pictures!

You could probally cut dont the tiller extention to suit the boat. If not can you upgrade to a longer tiller?

Well, it's not actually the tiller being too short, it is only a tinny winny bit, it's the height of the chair that is too high and end up with a sore left shoulder. The extension tiller only sticks out longer. It's the clamp on part, that doesn't grip onto the handle very well, even with the rubber inserts provided. Was thinking of cutter the tiller extension but it won't do the trick, the clamp is useless. The most comfortable position is to rip the seats out and sit on the back casting deck, but I would prefer a shorter chair, can see higher
