anyone know how to rig a go pro/video camera corded to a lcd display?

Im interested in getting an underwater view on some different spots, then it dawned on me!
instead of dunking a go pro underwater and then taking it home or takiong the card out to watch it, why the bloody hell hasent anyone put a video camera on the bottom end of a pole with display screen on the top?
should be simple enough...

Can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction???
any info would be great

cheers Topwater

You can stream from a GoPro (or many GoPros) with a Wireless back to a smartphone or iPad - there's a couple of seconds delay.

Or you can use the lcd backscreen even though it will be after the fact. I havent read anything about the wireless signal being cut, but saying that the app only became available a couple of days ago.

You could always get the lcd backpack and jump in the water.
