G'Day Fellas, I've never fished in the VicBream Classic before but i'm keen to give it a crack, especially the Nelson and Warrnambool rounds. Can anyone point me in the right direction on where you get entry forms? Cheers.

Mate great to hear you entering for the first time. Don't be nervous as anything you don't know the guys will be happy to help you learn. The best advice I can give you is don't take yourself too seriously, or put pressure on yourself to place or win for that matter and you probably will do really well.

All I can say is the Vic Bream Series is probably the most laid back fun yet still competitive tournament circuits you can fish. Once you do one you will see its just really a bunch of mates that gather together to have a fun weekend and compete together. Even though from the outside it looks big and extremely serious its really just a load of fun, laughs and a chance to compete with and against your mates.
I think a lot of new friends have formed from the guys fishing the Vic Bream Series which just goes to show how welcoming it is for new competitors.

You will have a ball. Makesure you come up and introduce yourself at the comps I like meeting all the new teams.

Cheers
Bill

The Classics are awesome, all i wanted to do was to fish one to see what all the hype was about. Crabcrusher offered me a spot on his boat and then i just had to catch one legal in a comp.

Met a lot of great blokes, learnt heaps, fished another qualifying round and then the Grand Final and now we are fishing them all next year.

So much for just one hey its so addictive i love it

Bill runs a great comp and it is getting very very popular

All of them, Giddy Up!

The worst part of this series - the wait between the GF and the next year first round.

Cheers,
Alex

Haha.. Just the one round..... I do remeber you saying that It has now turned into the entire series. If you want to fish some ABT's let me know, as i am hoping to commit to a few rounds this coming season to.

Dont worry what the missus says

Give it a go Lewa. The docklands can be tough, but on the flip side it can be rewarding if approached from the right angle.

The Series is a great way to meet some of the countries best anglers, in a some pretty cool and relaxed enviroments. Bill runs a great series, and is a credit to the sport.

i'd love to fish the docklands event this year as a NB but i doubt anyone would want their non-boater to only be able to fish one of the rounds.
if i can't get a spot as a non-boater i might just cruise the docks on a rickshaw and have a little live well in the back just to get the true comp feeling haha
