Polycraft staff joins Bream world

Hi

AdrianW decided to take up Breaming just days before the Bundaberg Competition.

Now he's hooked! ( and has recently joined this forum)

Adrian is the foreman at the Polycraft Factory ( in Bundaberg). His own boat is the first Bream Boat he has done.

He is open to new ideas - and so I thought I would share these photos he sent me.

It seems that he has a neater solution to the front livewell than we have seen before.

And he tells me that he is still working on rod storage concepts - any suggestions?

enjoy!

Gary

Hinged Lid R front - fuel tank

Adrian has put his fuel tank in the right front bin. Feeding the fuel line back through the hull space

Both front bins are modified by cutting the lids and joining the two halves with a hinge.

Gary,
The one I've seen here has a double hatch for the live well at the front which leaves little to no room to easily set up a chair.

Do you have some shots of the front of that craft??

DaveW, any chance of some inside shots of yours??

Front wells

Hi Bear

The 4.1 Challenger has 2 front bins of 90 litre capacity.

As the hull is a double skin, these convert easily to live wells.

With a hinged lid ( for easier opening) , and the usual plumbing, each bin is readily converted to a live well.

But 180 litres is a lot! Is 90 litres enough for WA?

So using the front left bin for the live well leaves the otehr bin available for
- general storage or
- Fuel or
- batteries

and a chair insert or any combination of the above.

The photo I attached here is from the web site. It shows an uncarpeted boat - and the bins ( front and rear) more clearly.

Hi guys

So far all the piccies I've seen of people's polycrafts have been the side console version, what do u think of the tiller steer ones without the console?

There doesnt seem to be too much room in the sideconsole version and that pic with the 2 guys seems abit squashed, what do u think?

...someone has to say it in reply to Torvic's "looks squashed" coment....

It looks pretty cramped cos one of the guys isn't exactly the most compactly efficient guys...

Adrain is the short Guy ( at 6 3)

Actually in the photo at the comp Adrian is the short guy at the steering wheel

- and he is about 6 ft 3 in. ( edit: I just got corrected: Adrian is 6ft 8 ins!)

His non boater is a great guy - and was a very helpful non- boater to the inexperienced (in comps) boater. and he is big. Look at the PFD - thats an adult size.

Even with these two big guys the 4.1 looked very stable at rest - and with a 50 hp looked quick.

Below is a photo of a 4.1 tiller steer of Nigel Webster.

He has extended the front deck - making a huge front casting platform.

These polycraft things must be a lot quieter on the water than an aluminium hull, anyone reckon they are getting more/better fish due to the added stealth?
