Umm lets see. About 60 whiting from Werribee-Altona on Pipis in 4 trips last summer. I have caught bream on pipi from GWF whiel whiting fishing, a few pinkeis too. Pipi's work trust me....I swear by them

I seen the big 5-6kg bream hitting squid around east freo. I should try a big 14inch B2 lumo squid with a 10/0 hook

Yeah kifejigs are good. At least the blowies cant wreck them. The 300g + knife jigs work well in the 40-80ft water. I think i need a new combo though aye. Rember how i hooked that 7kg one on my stella 8000 and it nearly spooled me because my drag wasnt strong enough to stop it. I think i need a stella 20 000. U wanna head out to east freo this sat brody?

Yeh i reckon the 500 gram one would be better, because we where catching heaps of small bream on the 300gram one. And yeh you will probly need that stella, although my saltiga handles them pretty well. Yep sat sounds good , anyone else wanna come?

Your saltiga is crappy. The line roller started melting on that 6.8kg bream. rember? and u were only fishing 65lb braid too. Did u and your dad catch some squid on the weekend? I think we need at least 10-20 squid for sat. I got 50kg of berley ready. Its gonna be good

Ill even go out in the mornign b4 hand, and catch some baby squid. Live baiting with baby squid is the key for blackies... A wise old cockroach hunter told me that one!! Do u remember that mitch, ev, chris, dave???
