Mate have a look at the Slazenger obsession range. 1-3kg 7'2"
You may be surprised. Priced around $150-200, but feel like and work like rods in the $400-600 range.
Cheers

They do and they look alright.

Heartland, luvias, sol, infeet, tierra are all worth a look.

Lox yoshi series, Pflueger Patriarchs and Berkley venoms and Protactics.

I have a Slazenger Obsession and love it to death. Unfortunately snapped it out of my own stupidity few weeks back.

Great rods for the price.

Daiwa Luvias 7' 4-8lb - $229 @ Rayannes, down from $399. Balance with a CI4 2500 superbly.

Rapid Fire Custom Rods

Jstyle

After experiencing the Rapid Fire Custom Rod, I highly recommend going custom. After looking over many of the brands, I got to test this rod out and its awesome in so many ways.

My battery ran out on my camera so I'll post another photo of the rod only later but below is the Rapid Fire loaded with a Ci4 and some bremskis.

PM me if you keen.
