Great day 1 bag by Darryl. Was a dissapointing weekend for Marlo.. Not the usual big fish. Heading back at day 1 with under 2kg's i thought i would be lucky to be in the top 40, but was 16th!!!!!
And the scariest trip back sunday

Well done to Darryl on such a tough weekend! Also for helping me and many others with their sounders.

Eastbrimin, I agree! I was drifting faster then I could peddle back!Once that rain came through as well it just went from shocking to worse!!

Yeah heading down the narrows on day 2 cost me lots of fishing time. Got to my spot at 7.50am in the morning and left at 8.45am. got back to the weigh in at 11.55am Against the tide and wind and 1m chop was not fun....

As the other fellas have said, Well done Darryl!!!

It certainly made for an interesting round, with the weather gods throwing some challenging conditions up on Sunday

The Micro power poles certainly are advantagous, holding in the spot, even in conditions over 30 knots..

Thanks Hobie, for putting on another great event!

Cheers Nick

Was that fun or what...

Well done to the place getters and the organisers .
Had a blast and dead keen to do more east coast events.
Would love to come back to Marlo when its firing.

I started following the mob down to the narrows on day two but bailed half way down thinking it was going to be too hard to get back and I did not know what was down there.

Only one bream for the whole weekend @ 1.17kg.learnt a heap though.
Cheers Brendon
